Teacher Thank You

It was really great to write out a letter to my former teacher telling her what an influence she has had on my life. I really looked up to her during my school years, and I'm glad I finally had a chance to tell her that. I went back to that school one year for a friend's graduation and tried to find her there to tell her in person, but I was told that she no longer worked at that school. This has given me a chance to get in touch with her again and let her know what a positive influence she has been in my life. Although I don't plan on teaching the same age level or content she taught, I think her overall teaching style is something that will hopefully be mirrored in the way I teach as well.
