Thank You!

When I was told we were going to write a thank you letter the first person that came to mind was my softball coach. I have had many great teachers in my life, but with the situation in my life and currently my coach had gone out of her way to help me. I was diagnosed with cancer right at the beginning of spring semester last year. I was shocked, frantic about school, and did not know how to handle myself. I did not want to slow down, but knew my body would make me. I had my biopsy done the day before school started and was not able to move afterwards. My coach helped me call all my professors and explain to them what was going on. She helped me cope with myself in that I did not have the strength I use to have. Coach went out of her way to help my family out with bills and all the support I needed. This was an emotional letter for me to think about all the things she has helped me with. I thank her and I am thankful to have someone like her as a coach.
