A Note for Comfort

After writing the first note to my teacher I felt very touched that my small note of thanks was so greatly received. So this week I was thinking about what I could do for someone and after complimenting someone today about a good presentation they had in class, I realized that a note is more powerful than just a quick compliment. So after I heard about a family who lost their three month old son, I decided that a little note might mean a lot. I just said that we prayed for their family during our Bible study and then I shared a verse from the passage we were studying. When my grandfather passed away earlier this year I was very greatful to receive a card that just said that someone was thinking of me and my family. As writing cards and letters is becoming a rare occacion these days, I seem to appreciate them all the more. I hope this family appreciates it too.
